Capital & Regional plc (the "Company") announces that on 14 June 2010 the Barclays Wealth Trustee (Guernsey) Limited, the trustee of the Capital & Regional plc Employee Ownership Trust 2002 (the "Trustee") granted the following options under The Capital & Regional plc 2008 Long Term Incentive Plan (the "Plan"):

Performance conditions measured over the three years from the date of the award will determine how many of the options will vest. Based on actual performance, half of the options will vest (and can be exercised) three years from the date of award with the remainder vesting 12 months from the end of the performance period. The awards will lapse if not exercised within ten years of the award.
