NOTIFICATION OF INTEREST UNDER SECTION 324 OF THE COMPANIES ACT 1985


The Company has today received notification under Section 324 as extended by
Section 328 of the Companies Act 1985 of the following dealing:

200 Ordinary shares of 10p each were purchased by Mr Martin Barber, a director
of Capital & Regional plc, on 25 June 2007 at a price of 1175p per share. The
shares have been purchased for family members of Mr Martin Barber. Mr Barber
does not have a beneficial interest in the shares.
