Camellia Plc announces that Mr. Haughton Keane FitzGerald and Mr. Nicholas
Airth Grant, will be retiring from the board at the conclusion of the annual
general meeting to be held on Thursday, 31st May 2001.

Mr. FitzGerald will be succeeded as Chairman of Camellia Plc by Mr. Malcolm
Courtney Perkins.

It is intended to invite Mr. David Arthur Reeves and Mr. Abu Sayeed Muhammad
Obaidus Subhan to join the board of Camellia Plc with effect from 1st June
2001.
