NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES

Camellia Plc ('Camellia') has today been informed that Alcatel Bell
Pensioenfonds VZW has acquired 59,265 Camellia ordinary shares of 10 pence each
('shares') (2.09% of Camellia's issued share capital) being new Camellia shares
that were allotted on 17th November 2005 under the terms of a scheme of
arrangement pursuant to which Linton Park Plc became a wholly-owned subsidiary
of Camellia.

Following this transaction, Alcatel Bell Pensioenfonds VZW holds 205,665 shares
representing 7.24% of the issued share capital of Camellia. These shares are
registered in the name of HSBC Global Custody Nominee (UK) Limited A/C 847592.
