NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES

Camellia Plc ('Camellia') has today been informed that Camellia Holding AG has
acquired 4,687 Camellia ordinary shares of 10 pence each ('shares') (0.16% of
Camellia's issued share capital) being new Camellia shares that were allotted on
17th November 2005 under the terms of a scheme of arrangement pursuant to which
Linton Park Plc became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Camellia.

Following this transaction, Camellia Holding AG holds 1,425,687 shares
representing 50.16% of the issued share capital of Camellia. 1,421,000 shares
are registered in the name of Camellia Holding AG and 4,687 shares are
registered in the name of HSBC Global Custody Nominee (UK) Limited A/C 813259.
