Caledonian Trust Plc (the 'Company')
The Company announces that, following the approval by its shareholders in
General Meeting (held on 14th January 2000) to make market purchases, as
defined in section 163(iii) of the Companies Act 1985, of any of its own
Ordinary Shares of 20p each, it has, on 25th January 2000 purchased 10,000
(0.08%) Ordinary Shares at 50p per share for cancellation.
