                                 Board changes


Caledonian Trust today announces that John Little and Bryan Rankin, both
Non-Executive Directors of the Company, are retiring from the Board with effect
from the Company's Annual General Meeting being held on 19 January 2007 at 12:30
p.m.. Both John Little and Bryan Rankin have been Non-Executive Directors of
Caledonian Trust since 1987 and 1989 respectively.


Caledonian Trust are recruiting replacement non-executive directors and further
announcements will be made as appropriate.


Douglas Lowe, Chairman and Chief Executive of Caledonian Trust, said: 'I would
like to thank both John and Bryan for their significant contributions to the
business and the Board over many years. Their advice based on a wide knowledge
of and experience in business has been particularly valuable and the Board would
like to record its appreciation for their commitment and long service.'
