                     Appointment of Non-Executive Director


The Board of Caledonian Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Roderick
Pearson as Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 28 March 2007.


Roddy is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and brings to
the Company 30 years of commercial experience in the property industry. Roddy
has worked in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow, and is currently a director in
the Investment Market Place Department of commercial real estate consultants
Colliers CRE. Based in their Glasgow office, Roddy advises on the acquisition,
sale and asset management of investments throughout  Scotland.


Caledonian Trust intends to recruit a further non-executive director to the
Board and a further announcement will be made as appropriate.
