Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Caledonian Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan James Hartley as Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 26 August 2008. 

Mr. Hartley is currently finance director of Mactaggart & Mickel Limited and provides tax services at Hartley & Ritchie Tax Advisers.  He is also a non-executive director at Cornelian Asset Managers Limited. Mr. Hartley was previously a Tax Partner at KPMG LLP in Edinburgh.  

Douglas Lowe, Chairman and Chief Executive of Caledonian Trust, commented:
