Transaction in Own Shares


Caledonia Investments plc ('Caledonia') announces that on 21 November 2007 it
purchased 20,000 of its own shares of 5p each at a price of 1983.6000p per
share. These shares are to be held in treasury.

Following the purchase, Caledonia holds 343,253 of its ordinary shares in
treasury and has a total of 58,451,528 ordinary shares with voting rights
(excluding treasury shares) in issue.
