Caledonia Investments plc - AGM statement

At today's AGM, the Chairman and Chief Executive, Peter Buckley, made the
following comment:

'We are actively seeking the appointment of two new independent non-executive
directors who are not connected with the Cayzer concert party. For the future,
the board also intends to separate the roles of chairman and chief executive
and it is important that the new non-executive directors should play a part in
the decisions of the board relating to the timing and process of this change.'
