Update

Clinical Computing PLC 10 October 2002 10 October 2002 CLINICAL COMPUTING PLC Update Ahead of meetings with institutional shareholders, Clinical Computing Plc, the international developer of clinical information systems for the healthcare market, issued the following statement with respect to its latest version of Clinical Vision. 'We are pleased to report that the latest version of our software product Clinical Vision, version 4.0 is now being installed at the first three customer sites, which are scheduled to go live in the coming months. Inclusive of the three current installations, we presently have a backlog of six orders for Clinical Vision 4.0 in excess of £800,000. Our sales prospects for both the renal and transplant application continue to improve. We believe that once we are in a position to demonstrate the advanced functionality of Clinical Vision 4.0 at live sites further sales will follow. The first users of the Clinical Vision 4.0 will be deploying the renal application; and we also expect to deploy the liver transplantation application this year with our first live transplant site under Clinical Vision 4.0 ready in early 2003. We believe that in the United Kingdom, Australia/Asia and the United States the replacement of clinical healthcare systems will continue to gain priority as, over time, health organisations will demand more advanced functionality from the systems they acquire. We believe that Clinical Vision will meet the needs of these organizations and with these sites live our sales prospects will continue to improve.
