Cashbox PLC (AIM: CBOX), the AIM listed independent ATM deployer and operator
announces that Darren Woolsgrove has stepped down from the Board with immediate
effect.

As announced on March 28th 2007, Darren Woolsgrove moved from Chief Financial
Officer to a more operational role while the search for a new Chief Executive
was undertaken. Having seen through his commitments made at the admission to AIM
in March 2006 and the successful appointment of Ciaran Morton as Chief Executive
in April 2007, Darren Woolsgrove has stepped down and will now pursue new
business interests.


Anthony Sharp, Chairman of Cashbox, commented:

'I wish to express my gratitude to Darren for his contribution to the Company's
development over the past two and a half years. We appreciate that he agreed to
stay on until June to ensure an orderly hand over following the appointment of
both David Auger and Ciaran Morton earlier in the year. He leaves with our best
wishes for the future.'
