              C&C re-schedules announcement of preliminary results

Dublin, London, xx April, 2008: C&C Group plc ('C&C' or the 'Group'), a leading
manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded beverages in Ireland and the
UK, today announced that it has re-scheduled the issue of its preliminary
results announcement for the year ended 29th February 2008 from 8th May to 9th
May 2008, in order to provide access to a broader investor and analyst group,

The announcement will be issued at 7.00am (local Irish time) on 9th May. The C&C
management team will host a presentation and a conference call for institutional
investors, analysts and media in Dublin on that date. Further details of these
events will follow shortly.
