Update on current business

The Board is pleased to announce that the Company has begun to see an increase in enquiry levels for its products, particularly for the range of hand and hard surface sanitisation products, which is now translating into orders in our target markets. The Board believes heightened awareness, following national news coverage, of microbial and viral threats caused by swine flu has been a significant factor in this regard.  

David McRobbie, Chief Executive, commented:

'Whilst early in the Company's financial year, the Board is encouraged by these developments which are the product of the focussed strategy we adopted in Autumn 2008 and underpin our belief that we will meet market expectations for the financial year ended 31 March 2010.

The residual efficacy of our germ-kill technology is perfectly suited to disinfection and, crucially, long lasting protection against microbial and viral threats. We are working hard to ensure that Byotrol products are in place to provide that protection.'
