Burberry Group plc ('the Company')



The Company wishes to correct the Final Dividend Record Date contained in the
announcement entitled 'Final Results - part 2 of 2' (RNS Number: 5600D) released
earlier today.



The Record Date for the Final Dividend in respect of the year ended 31 March
2006 is 7 July 2006 and not 6 July 2006 as stated in the announcement made this
morning.
