Pursuant to DTR 3.1.4, Burberry Group plc (the "Company") received notice of changes to the shareholding of the following Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR"):

On Friday, 12 March 2010, Joy Frommer, a PDMR:

(i)         received 11,627 Ordinary Shares of 0.05 pence each in the Company ('Shares') at an exercise price of 258p per Share, following the exercise of an option granted under the Burberry Group plc Approved Executive Share Option Scheme 2002; 

(ii)        received 38,373 Shares at an exercise price of 258p per Share, following the exercise of an option granted under the Burberry Group plc Non-Approved Executive Share Option Scheme 2002; and 

(iii)       received 80,000 Shares at an exercise price of 230p per Share, following the exercise of an option granted under the Burberry Group plc Senior Executive IPO Share Option Scheme.

Subsequently, 130,000 Shares were sold in London on 12 March 2010 at a price of 684.718p per Share.

Following these transactions Joy Frommer holds 83,131 Shares and options and awards over 385,744 Shares.

The Company received notification of the above changes in Joy Frommer's interest in Shares on Friday, 12 March 2010.
