Pursuant to DTR 3.1.4, Burberry Group plc (the "Company") received notice of changes to the Shareholding of the following Directors / Persons Discharging Managerial Duties ("PDMRs"):

The Company received notice on 7 December 2009 from Ian Carter, a non-executive Director, that on 7 December 2009 he purchased 8,700 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of  570.00  pence each. Mr Carter's total shareholding is now 26,690 shares.
