Burberry Group plc ('the Company') - Director / PDMR Shareholding


On Thursday, 9 August 2007, Stacey Cartwright, a director of the Company,
received 37,129 Ordinary Shares of 0.05p each in the Company ('Shares')
following the exercise of an option granted under the Burberry Senior Executive
Restricted Share Plan 2004.

The Shares were subsequently sold in London on 9 August 2007 at a price of
659.0283p per Share.

Following these transactions Stacey Cartwright holds 85,932 Shares and options
and awards over 1,134,620 Shares.

The Company received notification of the above changes in Stacey Cartwright's
