Burberry Group plc - Director's Declaration


In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, Burberry Group plc (the 'Company')
announces that Mr John Peace, Chairman of the Board, has informed the Company of
his appointment as a non-executive director of Standard Chartered PLC with
effect from 1 August 2007.


There have been no other changes to the information set out in Listing 
Rule 9.6.13R (2) to 9.6.13R (6) in respect of Mr Peace.
