The issuer has made the following amendment to the Additional Listing
announcement released on 24 February 2000 at 10.35 under RNS No 1351G.

The following extract from the first sentence should read 'options over
1,016,949 Ordinary Shares of 25p each have been blocklisted.' and not 'options
over 1,016,949 Ordinary Shares of 25p each have been exercised.' as previously
stated.

All other details remain unchanged.

Bunzl plc

Pursuant to the above-named Company's 1994 Executive Share
Option Schemes options over 1,016,949 Ordinary Shares of 25p
each have been blocklisted. Accordingly, application has been
made to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be
admitted to the Official List.  The Shares rank pari passu
with the existing issued shares of the Company.

Announcements Office of the London Stock Exchange for the
period of 2 business days from the date hereof and from The
Registered Office of the Company for the period of 14 days
from the date hereof.
