purchased 40,000 Ordinary 25p Shares, (representing 0.07% of the issued class of
capital), at 269p per Ordinary Share, for cancellation.

Settlement and cancellation of the purchased 40,000 Ordinary Shares is due on
29th January 2004 when the issued share capital of the Trust will fall to
54,575,416 Ordinary 25p Shares.
