The Brunner Investment Trust PLC announces that on 13th February 2003 it
re-purchased 50,000 Ordinary 25p Shares, (representing 0. 09% of the issued
class of capital), at 225p per Ordinary Share, for cancellation.

Settlement and cancellation of the re-purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares is due on
18th February 2003 when the issued share capital of the Trust will fall to
57,352,416 Ordinary 25p Shares.
