The Brunner Investment Trust PLC announces that on 25th November 2002 it
re-purchased 30,000 Ordinary 25p Shares, (representing 0. 05% of the issued
class of capital), at 267p per Ordinary Share, for cancellation.

Settlement and cancellation of the re-purchased 30,000 Ordinary Shares is due on
28th November 2002 when the issued share capital of the Trust will fall to
57,432,416 Ordinary 25p Shares.
