Notification of major interests in shares

N Brown Group plc ('the Company')

The Company was advised on 1st March that FMR Corp. and its direct and indirect 
subsidiaries and Fidelity International Limited (FIL) and its direct and 
indirect subsidiaries, both being non-beneficial holders had increased the 
number of ordinary shares held by them in the Company to 32,232,261 ordinary 
shares of 10p each. This shareholding represented 11.02% of the current issued 
share capital of the Company.
