Nigel Alliance OBE, Non-executive Director of N Brown Group plc ('the Company'), has today informed the Company that he has transferred 7,808,439 of the ordinary shares he holds in the Company to Bank Hapoalim as collateral for a private transaction. The legal title of these 7,808,439 shares is now with Bank Hapoalim although Mr Alliance will retain the voting and dividend rights to the shares transferred. Following this transfer, Nigel Alliance now holds 23,680,829 ordinary shares, representing 8.7% of the issued share capital of the Company.
