                                  Board Change


N Brown Group plc today announces that Michael Bullas, Merchandise Director, has
chosen to resign from the Board and as an employee of the company with immediate
effect to pursue other interests outside the home shopping sector.  A
replacement will be announced in due course.

The merchandise team put in place under Mike will continue and the Spring/Summer
catalogues are performing in line with our expectations.
