Board Appointments

Brooks Macdonald Group PLC is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board with immediate effect of Nicholas Holmes and Andrew Shepherd.

Both Nicholas and Andrew have been involved with fund management for all of their careers and have been Joint Managing Directors of Brooks Macdonald Asset Management since 31 October 2008.

Chris Knight, Chairman, said:

"This is a natural progression for both Nicholas and Andrew, having assumed day to day responsibility for Asset Management in 2008. Their appointment to the Group board is recognition of the significant role they have played in the Group's success".

Other information in connection with the above board appointments:

Nicholas Ian Holmes (39) is currently a director of Brooks Macdonald Asset Management Limited. His beneficial interest in the Company is 41,002 Ordinary Shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") representing approximately 0.40% of the Company's issued share capital. Nicholas Holmes additionally holds options over Ordinary Shares as follows:
