The Cellcom stake was purchased by a subsidiary of Discount Investment Corp, Ltd. (DISI.TA), which previously held a 25 percent interest in Cellcom, for an aggregate purchase price of $625 million. BellSouth will record an after-tax gain on the transaction of approximately $230 million or 12 cents per share.
