The Board of The British Land Company PLC notes the result of the
Extraordinary General Meeting held this morning by Liberty International PLC,
and confirms that it will not improve the terms of its offer to Standard Bank
Investment Corporation Limited and Liberty Group Limited to acquire the 29.9%
stake in Liberty International PLC.
