David Michels, Dr C Gibson-Smith and Lord Turnbull, Directors of the Company,
were allotted the following number of shares of 25p each in the Company, at a
price of 1392 pence per share;

Dr C Gibson-Smith          414
Lord Turnbull              179

The shares allotted to Lord Turnbull were pursuant to his standing instructions
to receive shares as part satisfaction of his annual director's fee. The shares
allotted to Dr C Gibson-Smith and Sir David Michels were pursuant to their
standing instructions to receive shares as total satisfaction of their annual
directors' fees.
