NOTIFICATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH LISTING RULE 9.6.14

Notification is made in accordance with LR 9.6.14 that Mrs Christine Morin-Postel, a Non-Executive Director of British American Tobacco p.l.c., was nominated as a Non-Executive Director of EXOR S.p.A. ("EXOR") on 15 April 2009. The appointment will be ratified at EXOR's Annual General Meeting which is to be held on 28 April 2009.  EXOR is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange in Milan.
