On 24 November 2006, the Company granted options over British American Tobacco
p.l.c. 25p ordinary shares (the "Shares") to an executive director and two other
persons discharging managerial responsibilities listed below (together the "
Participants") under the British American Tobacco Sharesave Scheme (the "Scheme
") at an option price of 1152p per Share.
