RETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORs

 

 

As previously announced Susie Farnon, who has been a non-executive director of Breedon since 2010, retired from the Board on 31 March 2020 together with Peter Cornell, who has been a non-executive director since October 2018.

 

Commenting on their retirement Amit Bhatia, Chairman, said: "Both Susie and Peter have served the Group with great dedication and professionalism and on behalf of the Board I would like to thank them for their contribution, particularly Susie who has served the Board for the last ten years and wish them both well for the future."

 

Susie has served as Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee and will be succeeded in both roles by Clive Watson.

 

At the time of announcing its preliminary results for 2019 Breedon announced the forthcoming appointment of Carol Hui as a non-executive director which is currently expected to take place later this year.
