172 customers by Q3 2022 end, continuing strong customer traction

 

BrandShield Systems plc (AIM: BRSD), a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions for brand oriented digital risk protection, is pleased to announce that the Company has continued its strong business momentum across Q3 2022, underpinned by key customer wins across multiple sectors' geographies.

 

Key highlights include:

 

· Expanded US footprint : a key territory for the Group, BrandShield secured several new contracts with companies across the healthcare, consumer products and media spaces, among others.

 

· Increased international presence : BrandShield continued its expansion into different territories, and entered Ireland, a new geography. The Group partnered with a health and pharmaceutical company based in the country, demonstrating BrandShield's global reach and the ever-expanding demand for cybersecurity protection worldwide.

 

· Strengthened portfolio of clients operating in the financial services sector:   in Q3 2022, the Group secured eight new mandates with financial services companies. BrandShield's brand oriented digital risk protection solutions are fast becoming critical in a sector with considerable exposure to a broad range of cyberthreats.

 

· Expanded food and drink presence : BrandShield agreed contracts with leading global food and beverage companies. With Criminal counterfeiters and fraudsters a growing threat to the food and drink industry, BrandShield continues to monitor potential growth opportunities in the sector.

 

By the end of Q3 2022, the Group had increased client numbers to 172, from 153 at the end of H1 2022, deploying its highly automated SaaS operating model to monitor, identify, and eradicate a number of cyberthreats impacting the performance and security of brands, from social media impersonations to potentially harmful phishing attacks. BrandShield remains well positioned to add to its already robust portfolio of clients, with cybercrime a fast-growing concern for businesses worldwide and threat actors increasingly targeting a wider range of sectors.
