Following the vesting of ordinary shares in Swallowfield plc from a trust,
previously declared as a non-beneficial interest of Mr J A Wardell, into the
names of beneficiaries of that trust, the Company was informed on 14 September
2006 that Mr Mark Wardell is now beneficially interested in 450,720 ordinary
shares in the Company, representing approximately 4.0 per cent of the issued
share capital. Mr J A Wardell has also advised the Company that he longer has a
non-beneficial interest in 104,255 ordinary shares in the Company.
