Swallowfield plc announces that it was yesterday informed that Western Selection
P.L.C. purchased 100,000 shares in the Company on 15 August 2003.  Western
Selection P.L.C. is now beneficially interested in 1,000,000 shares in the
Company, representing approximately 8.88 per cent. of the issued share capital.



Swallowfield also announces that it was informed yesterday that Jupiter Global
Green Investment Trust Plc is non-beneficially interested in 430,000 shares in
the Company, representing approximately 3.82 per cent. of the issued share
capital.
