Swallowfield plc announces that it was informed on 10 December 2001 by 3i plc
that, due to an internal reorganisation by their custodian, there has been a
change to the registered name of their holding which is now held under BNY
(OCS) Nominees (previously RBSTB Nominees Limited).  Please note that this is
not a change to the beneficial ownership, which is still 3i plc.
