Swallowfield announces that it was informed on 18 April 2001 that, as a result
of acquiring 425,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 11 April 2001, Western
Selection PLC is now interested 510,000 ordinary shares in the Company,
representing approximately 4.53 per cent. of the issued share capital.
