Directors' Notification of Dealing in Shares

Swallowfield announces that it was informed today that 14,395 ordinary shares
in the company were transferred to Tony Wardell, Group Managing Director, by
the trustees of the Swallowfield Deferred Share Plan on the 23 June 2000. 
Tony Wardell is now beneficially interested in 1,077,651 ordinary shares,
representing approximately 9.6% of the entire issued share capital.
