Swallowfield plc ('the Company') announces that Stephen Boyd, non-executive Chairman of the Company, notified it on 23 May 2012 that he acquired 5,000 Ordinary Shares at 120 pence per share on 23 May 2012.   Following this acquisition Stephen Boyd holds 105,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 0.9% of the Company's issued share capital.
