Seascope Shipping Holdings plc ('the Company')


Listing of shares

Seascope announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority
and to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of 150,000 new ordinary
shares of 10p each to (i) the Official List and (ii) to trading on the London
Stock Exchange's markets for listed securities, as additional consideration
due to the vendors of Braemar Shipbrokers Limited. It is expected that
Admission will become effective and that dealings in the new ordinary shares
will commence on 10 September 2001.
