Braemar Shipping Services plc (the "Company")

Purchase by Employee Share Trust

The Company has been notified that the Braemar Shipping Services plc Employee Share Option Plan (the 'ESOP') on Tuesday 17 May 2011 acquired 100,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 475 pence per share.  Accordingly, the ESOP now holds 917,242 ordinary shares in Braemar Shipping Services plc, representing 4.35 per cent. of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital.
