The Company has been notified today that an employee has acquired 472 ordinary
shares of 10p each as the result of the exercise of a SAYE option at a price of
148 pence per share.



Application will be made to the UK Listing Authority for admission of these
additional 472 ordinary shares to the Official List and to the London Stock
Exchange for admission to trading, with effect from 31 March 2004. Following
this admission the total issued and authorised ordinary share capital is
18,619,418.
