Braemar Seascope Group PLC 29 September 2006 Braemar Seascope Group plc ('the Group') Acquisition of Hi-Bar The Board of Braemar Seascope Group plc is pleased to announce the purchase of Hi-Bar by its wholly-owned subsidiary company, DV Howells Limited. Hi-Bar is an environmental services business operating in the same field as DV Howells from premises near Gatwick. It has 3 employees and has built up a strong reputation giving advice and consultancy to a number of the Oil Majors. DV Howells, acquired by the Group in March 2006, is one of the leading UK environmental services businesses providing services primarily for the marine sector but also to the rail network, police forces, the Ministry of Defence and others. It has 27 employees based in the UK at offices in Milford Haven, Stansted, Rotherham, Huddersfield, Falmouth, Didcot and Perth. The addition of Hi-Bar will complete DV Howells' UK incident response coverage by adding a base in the important south eastern sector, spanning the Greater London region with the Stansted base in the North. The Group will pay cash of £125,000 on completion and a further £225,000 over the next 24 months to the current owners who include some of the staff joining the Group.
