Spodumene Bearing Pegmatites Intersected in First Hole at San Domingo

Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL, OTCQB:BHLIF), the North America-focused lithium development group, announces that it has completed the first hole of its current 30-hole San Domingo pegmatite exploration programme in Central Arizona. The Company has confirmed significant intersections of spodumene-bearing pegmatite in this first hole.

Highlights :

· The first hole has been completed of Bradda's 7,000m drill programme, with multiple different pegmatite bodies intersected across the 262m of core, including a 13m pegmatite intercept. A cross section and map of hole locations is detailed below and available on the Company's website at ( https://www.braddaheadltd.com/media/image-library/ ).

· Visible lithium-bearing minerals identified include spodumene and lepidolite. To confirm mineralogy X-ray Diffraction (XRD), was carried out on 8 samples from the intersections, identifying spodumene and lepidolite in all. Full assays are in progress and will be reported when received for this hole.

· The total programme will consist of 30 holes (7,000m) of diamond core drilling, and Bradda expects the total drilling component to be finished in Q4.

· Drilling was due to start in late July but, due to extreme seasonal rains in Arizona, commencement of drilling was pushed back. Intermittent extreme rain has also occurred over August, delaying the completion of this first hole, but drilling will be more consistent in September onwards after the monsoon season is over. Shortly the team will add a night shift which will expedite progress.

· The commencement of drilling follows positive results from a recent SRK 3D mapping exercise, increasing potential pegmatite outcrops by 190% and following this Bradda increased its staked claims at San Domingo by 75% (see PR dated 08 August 2022).

· These drill results strengthen Bradda's geological team's thesis that the Company's pegmatite district may have larger structures at depth, based on all work undertaken to date including; surface sampling, channel sampling, geophysics, remote sensing and 3D modelling by Bradda and SRK geologists.

· Alongside the drilling a follow-up field observation, soil sampling, and channel sampling programme is now underway across the full 23km2  San Domingo Project landholding.

Charles FitzRoy, CEO of Bradda Head, commented:

"The completion of the first hole is an important milestone, signifying that we are continuing with our stated intent at San Domingo, following some really positive 3D mapping earlier this month, and it's great to have now begun drilling at the 4th asset in our Arizona and Nevada portfolio, with visible spodumene intersected at multiple depths in the first hole.

" Our San Domingo pegmatite district is extensive, having been historically mined for lithium-in-spodumene in the 1940s and 1950s, within our permitted license area. Historical records show that the average reported grade of the Spodumene mined during this period was 740t at 2.75% Li20! Our claims now cover c.23km2.

"Further surface fieldwork has added to our knowledge and strengthened our theory of the geological structures at depth at our San Domingo claims. The 3D mapping project combined with all fieldwork to date at San Domingo has helped in drillhole targeting and orientation, and the initial results from this first hole show that the build-up work has been on-trend and these intersections in the first hole are extremely encouraging.

"Despite unavoidable delays due to Arizona's recent wet season, we are very much on-track with our planned exploration timelines, and are looking forward to confirming our thesis that the San Domingo pegmatite district has larger structures at depth, similar to other zoned pegmatite systems with the results to be reported in due course."

Background

Following on from SRK's remote mapping and Bradda's geological fieldwork, the Company decided to increase the number of exploration holes it will drill at its two San Domingo lithium pegmatite claims in Central Arizona. At Central San Domingo 10 holes will be drilled (recently increased from 6 due to further mapping) and at Northern San Domingo a 20-hole programme was added, thereby bringing the programme to 30 holes (approximately 7,000 metres in total). The decision was made following 3D remote mapping of the Company's whole San Domingo claims.

An extensive soil sampling and channel sampling programme is underway across the whole 23km2 claim area, which will help with future drill hole targeting.

Previous surface sampling at named outcropping pegmatites in the San Domingo claim blocks returned individual sample grade highlights of:

· Midnight Owl: 1.44% Li2O

· Joker: 0.35% Li2O

· White Ridge: 2.49% Li2O

· Lower Jumbo: 1.62% Li2O

· Sunrise: 0.67% Li2O

· North Morning Star: 0.92% Li2O
