We write to notify you that we received notification on 8 November from HSBC
Trust Company (UK) Limited that the following Directors of BP Amoco p.l.c. were
allotted the number of BP Ordinary shares shown opposite their names on 4
October 1999 at £5.725 per share through reinvestment of PEP dividends:
Dr J.G.S. Buchanan 1 Ordinary share
Mr R.L. Olver 3 Ordinary shares
