                                Notifiable Interest



The Company announces that it received notification on 25 October 2005 that on
20 October 2005 The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., including its direct and indirect
subsidiaries, had an interest of 1,280,700 ordinary shares of 10p each in the
Company, representing 4.33% of the issued share capital of the Company. Of these
shares, 885,700  were held as custodian for its customers and will be registered
in the name of Goldman Sachs Securities (Nominees), Limited and 395,000 arose
from a beneficial interest and will be registered at CREST in account CREPTEMP.


This represents the entire holding of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in the
issued share capital of the Company.


On 26 October 2005 the Company disclosed that The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.,
including its direct and indirect subsidiaries, had an interest of 1,168,200
ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, representing 3.95% of the issued
share capital of the Company.
