Sale of Bowleven Shares

This notification relates to the ordinary shares of the Company (the shares) and 
is given in fulfilment of the obligations imposed under section 198 of the 
Companies Act 1985 (the Act).

We hereby notify you that on or about 27 June 2007, following the disposal of 
3 587 231 ordinary shares of approximately £2.00 each in the share capital of 
the Company, Energem no longer has a notifiable interest in the issued share 
capital of the Company.
