Transaction in Own Shares

BLUE PLANET FINANCIALS GROWTH & INCOME INVESTMENT TRUSTS Nos. 1-10 PLC
                                 ("the Trusts")

                    Market purchase of the Trusts own shares

Notification is given pursuant to the general authority granted by the
shareholders of the Trusts on 24 June 2004 to make market purchases of the
Trusts' own shares.  On 9 July 2004 each of the Trusts bought back 6,930
Ordinary Shares at a price of 87.5 pence per share (to be held as treasury
shares) which is the equivalent of 875 pence per unit.

Each Trust now holds 6,930 Ordinary Shares in treasury and the total number of
Ordinary Shares in issue less the total number of Ordinary Shares held in
treasury following the purchase and non cancellation of such Ordinary Shares is
1,351,570 Ordinary Shares in each Trust.
